• GEICO enters world of e-sports with new TSM sponsorship
  • GEICO and Team Solomid (TSM), a world leader in e-sports, announce a new partnership in the expanding world of e-sports. GEICO has historically maintained a strong presence as a sponsor within traditional sports and motor sports. The stellar reputations of both companies form a strong foundation for the partnership, one based on mutual respect, with representatives from both companies recognizing the opportunities that arise from it.

Andy Dinh, CEO of TSM, stated, “I’ve always admired GEICO’s commitment to having a meaningful involvement in traditional sports. We’re really pleased they’re bringing that level of dedication to the gaming space.”

“We worked with TSM on a test program last year,“ said Vince Giampietro, GEICO’s senior marketing manager, “and we liked the positive results a great deal. We feel this partnership with TSM will help us quickly gain traction in the e-sports community. We are eager to build on this existing platform to engage the video gaming world’s loyal and passionate fanbase.”

GEICO’s long-time association with RedPeg Marketing helped bridge the gap from traditional event marketing into the new e-sports space. The company has worked with RedPeg Marketing to launch the new project and RedPeg continues to be a strong source of new branding initiatives for the auto insurer.
